The San Diego Museum of Man in California is the only anthropology museum in the region and houses some of the most unique skeletal collections in the country. The Department of Physical Anthropology at the museum is responsible for the curation of the skeletal collections: the Hrdlicka Paleopathology Collection, the Stanford-Meyer Osteopathology Collection, and the Boring Collection.
