Skulls

The skull is the most complex element of the skeleton. It houses the brain, forms the framework for the chewing apparatus and is the bony foundation for the senses; sight, smell, taste and hearing. The skull protects the mouth, trachea, initial portions of the breathing apparatus and digestive tract.
Bone Clones began producing replica skulls in 1993. Our first skull replicas were reproduced from the real skulls of endangered and extinct animals. Since then our collection has grown to include a large selection of human products as well as many other extant and extinct specimens. All of our skulls, with the exception of our Fossil Hominid Skulls, are cast from original specimens. Our attention to detail has led our skull products to become sought after in many professional fields including biological anthropology, anatomy, forensics, archaeology, zooarchaeology, paleontology and zoology. Bone Clones® is also playing a significant role in museum exhibits and becoming a part of modern collections in these museums. All of our skull reproductions are listed below. See smaller categories separately containing the skulls of Great Apes, Fossil Hominids, Human Adult, Sharks, Fossil Cats and many more.

All items sold on this website are replicas and are 1:1 scale unless stated otherwise. All Bone Clones® products are made in the USA. No real/natural bone is available on this site.
