NEW Comparative Bird Sets!

Educators and nature enthusiasts!

It's our pleasure to announce two new Bone Clones® bird sets:

COMPARATIVE RAPTOR SKULLS and COMPARATIVE BIRD FEET

These skulls and feet are meticulously crafted and hand-painted to match the real specimen from which they are cast. They are perfect educational tools or collectibles for educators, birders, naturalists, or fledgling ornithologists.

Our comparative raptor skull set features four incredibly detailed, anatomically accurate specimens, molded directly from real raptor skulls.

The set illustrates advantages provided by certain cranial features common to predatory raptors, including forward facing, binocular eyes and strong hooked beaks.

Topics that may be discussed: how animals are related, extant vs. fossil raptor skulls, predator vs. prey, diet, and response to ecological conditions.

Included: Bald Eagle, Peregrine Falcon, Red-tailed Hawk, Great Horned Owl.

Comparative Raptor Skull Set

Our Comparative bird feet set features four incredibly detailed, anatomically accurate specimens, molded directly from real specimens.

Avian feet differ widely depending on their function, which can include perching, locomotion, grasping-carrying-holding objects, wading, swimming, among others.

This set offers an opportunity to compare similarities and differences in morphology between birds occupying similar or diverse ecological niches.

Included: Harpy Eagle, California Condor, Hyacinth Macaw, Wattled Crane

Comparative Bird Feet Set

We offer these sets as part of our commitment to providing high quality educational resources to schools and educators.
