New Products

Bone Clones is continually adding to our collection of reproductions, covering a wide range of disciplines and areas of study. This month, we’re excited to announce the release of our newest casts: a Human Skull with Syphilis, a Whooping Crane Skull, a Cownose Ray Jaw, and an Economy Opossum Skull. There are more exciting products on the way, so stay tuned!

Syphilis Skull

BC-404

Syphilis is a bacterial infectious disease which has a venereal mode of transmission. As seen here, tertiary syphilis results in numerous lesions on the skull vault. Presentation of caries sicca on the parietal bones and occipital can be seen when the person is severely affected and in this case, there is advanced sclerotic healing. Syphilitic lesions often affect the outer table of the skull, leaving the inner table spared.

Endangered Species Day

May 16th is Endangered Species Day 2025. It's observed annually on the third Friday of May to raise awareness about endangered species and to recognize species that have recovered due to conservation efforts. From the beginning, one of Bone Clones’ goals has been to produce casts of animals that would normally be taken from the wild to obtain their skeletons for study or display. Bone Clones® casts, with emphasis on capturing anatomical details, eliminate this need. Below is a selection of endangered species casts available from Bone Clones.
