Bone Clones is proud to introduce our cast of the Homo naledi LES1 skull. Found in the Dinaledi Chamber of the Rising Star Cave system in South Africa, H. naledi has been dated to be 236,000–335,000 years old. This puts it in the same region and time frame as early modern humans, but with an unusual mosaic of derived and ancestral anatomical features that differentiate it from other species of the genus Homo.
