Half of our 5-year-old Child Skeleton, SC-183-A, including a version of the skull that reveals underlying dentition (BC-189). The bones from this skeleton may be used for understanding bone formation and growth, noting differences in the child and adult skeletons (e.g., diaphyses), and recognizing juvenile bones for forensic purposes (as well as differentiating them from non-human animals of similar size).
