Dinosaurs and Reptilian Skulls

Dinosaurs first appeared in the fossil record about 225 million years ago and became extinct about 66 million years ago. Dinosaurs can be considered reptilian from similarities in skeletal form and by producing hard-shelled eggs. Some reptiles, like the crocodile, have been evolving for millions of years and represent some of the oldest animals to exist on the planet.
