Primate Locomotion
Locomotion refers to how an animal moves in progression from one place to another. Selective forces will generate how an animal’s body changes to adapt to their particular environment. Bone Clones® is happy to offer individual bones and sets that demonstrate various modes of locomotion, such as quadrupedalism and brachiation, as well as comparison sets to study how humans evolved bipedality. Intermembral sets are also in this category, and in addition to the Intermembral Index, Humerofemoral, Brachial, and Crural Indices may also be determined with the long bones from these sets.
All items sold on this website are reproductions (replicas). All Bone Clones® products are made in the USA. No real or natural bone material is available on this site.
