Veterinary
We commonly think of veterinarians as doctors that treat our household pets, and yet, the field of veterinary medicine covers many other areas of caring for the health of many kinds of animals. There are vets that specialize in large animals and reptiles, like horses and crocodilians, and those that work with zoologists in a zoo environment to address the specialized needs of captive species from around the world. Developing areas of specialized study are of wildlife animals and marine animals. Bone Clones® skulls of various domestic breeds of dogs provide comparisons of skull structure and dentition, and skulls and skeletons of wild or exotic animals, including non-human primates, show the skeletal structures of a variety of mammals, reptiles and birds. Visit our Zoology category for an expanded listing of skulls and skeletons.
