Human Feet

The foot is a complex structure that is a representation of an animal’s evolutionary history, from the simple tetrapod (a four-limbed animal) to a more complex organism. Humans have retained the generalized five digit pattern in the feet. There are twenty-six bones in each foot. Please see below for articulated, partially articulated, or disarticulated feet.
