Osteoarchaeology is the study of human skeletal remains found in the archaeological context. It involves the analysis of human skeletal remains starting with bone identification to facilitate interpretations of past events, such as physical activity, diet, physiological stress, disease, injury, death and the demographic history of a once living population.
