One of the most complete saber-toothed cat skulls ever found, this remarkable individual was found with a completely intact nasal septum. The canines (over 10 inches long) are complete and removable. The jaw and canines were found associated with the skull. Our molding and casting process has captured the intricate nasal cavity, as well as the interior of the alveolar margin of the maxilla where the canines are rooted into place. This was found in the 1930's during the construction of a bank building across the street from the La Brea Tar Pits. 2-part skull (separate cranium & jaw).
