Human Female European 7-Piece Study Skull
BC-219 $762.00
(Stand Sold Separately)
Our 7 piece study skull is designed unlike any other skull available on the market. It has a superb balance of detail and manageability. Traditionally, skulls of this nature have been presented with a horizontal cut exposing the interior of the cranium, "the Calvarium Cut". This cast displays the "brain case" in the traditional fashion, but it also provides access to study through natural disarticulation of the skull's sutures. One is permitted to explore significantly further than the conventional calvarium-cut skull. A custom metal display stand is also available below.
This skull is designed with removable bone groupings, so the skull's sphenoid, ethmoid, and vomer can be disarticulated from the skull and examined thoroughly. The sphenoid and ethmoid have been specifically produced to reveal all of the foramina, canals, and passages. This illustrates all of the pertinent nerve paths-precisely equivalent to real bone.
This adult female European skull is an astonishing casting example with clean detail and lifelike texture. It matches all of the features of the original skull and is not subject to international regulations governing human subjects, sourcing, and donor authorization. This skull represents a series of medical anatomy skulls developed with top researchers and teaching professionals. It is an extraordinary innovation for those who want to illustrate what, until now, could not be easily demonstrated.
An osteological evaluation report is available for print and download here: BC-219-Report. Should you have questions or comments regarding the report, please contact us at reports@boneclones.com.
