Adult gorillas have 32 teeth, as do humans and the other apes. They are almost strictly vegetarian with the exception of an occasional meal of termites or ants. Gorillas, Orangutans, and Chimpanzees all share the same dental formula of 2:1:2:3 (8 teeth per quadrant: 2 incisors, 1 canine, 2 pre-molars, 3 molars).
