Mandrill baboons and drills, the largest of the monkeys, belong to the Cercopithecine family, a modern group that originated in Africa and now ranges throughout Asia except in high latitudes. These noisy, gregarious, curious and adaptive generalists have doglike faces, walk on all fours and are mostly terrestrial. Mandrills are primarily terrestrial animals with a skeletal structure modified for quadrupedal locomotion, though they will seek shelter in trees and cliffs at night. Our mandrill pelvis and femur are from the same individual as our Mandrill Skull, BC-010. Femur also available separately.
