5-year-old Human Child Skull with Calvarium Cut

All evidence points toward an age of 5 to 6 years. All the deciduous (baby teeth) are present in the upper and lower jaws. The anterior, posterior, sphenoidal and mastoidal fontanelles are all closed. The spheno-occipital synchondrosis and the calvarial sutures are all open. An osteological evaluation report is available for print and download here: BC-188-Report. 3-part skull (cranium, jaw, and calvarium cap connected with removable hardware).
